UK-based security screening business Smiths Detection has signed an agreement to supply Noida International Airport in India with both passenger and hold baggage screening equipment. “Smiths Detection have a global reputation for the best technology, and we look forward building a relationship to help ensure a smooth passenger experience and safety for all,” said Christoph Schnellmann, chief executive of Noida, which is being developed by Zurich Airport International AG and is due to open at the end of 2024 with capacity for 12 million passengers.
