The Ruselectronics holding company of Rostec State Corporation has developed a new generation hybrid TV sensor for detecting and observing distant objects in conditions of poor visibility, such as fog, rain, snowfall, dust storms or low illumination. The equipment is suitable for use in aircraft surveillance, and search and track systems. No similar Russian systems are currently available. The device is designed to operate in the near-infrared range at a distance of up to 1.7 microns (0.0017 mm).
