Oman Air has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines to power six Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The airline is the first in the Middle East to select the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engine, which last month powered the first 787 Dreamliner into service. Rolls-Royce has been selected for eight of the last nine 787 Dreamliner engine competitions.
