Kaman Aerostructures, a division of Kaman Aerospace Corporation, has opened a new manufacturing facility in the city of Chihuahua in Mexico. The new facility will manufacture extrusions and sheet metal details for the aerospace industry. The parts will be shipped either to Kaman Aerostructures’ manufacturing operations in the US for final assembly into structures or directly to end customers. The new facility will grow over time and Kaman Aerostructures estimates it could employ as many as 500 people with a potential investment of $10million.
