Parts manufacturer Goodrich has stated it expects to see recovery in all its commercial and defense markets in 2011, even with the delay to the 787. Marshall Larsen, Goodrich CEO said the company was experiencing “very solid, organic growth in every one of our market segments”. Larsen confirmed further delays to the 787 program will have no impact on the firm’s 2011 profit because margins in the early stages of a plane program are very low.
