GKN Aerospace creates new engineering centre of excellence in Bangalore

  GKN Aerospace is to open a new advanced engineering centre in Bangalore, India.  The centre will commence operating in August, 2013 and will provide engineering resources to the company’s international aerospace projects, across all its areas of expertise.  It will extend the company’s worldwide engineering design, analysis, and production support strength and also manage the company’s local supply chain.   The centre will add additional highly skilled individuals to GKN Aerospace’s global engineering resource. During the first year of operation the company will transfer existing Bangalore staff to the new facility, which will then grow to over 100 personnel
