Eve Air Mobility is to sell “up to 40” electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vehicles to Brazilian aviation business FlyBIS, which in turn aims to expand the partnership to neighbouring countries in South America. “This new collaboration with FlyBIS will enable us to expand the future of air mobility to Southern areas of Brazil and other South American countries,” said Andre Stein, Eve co-chief executive. The FlyBIS deal takes Eve’s eVTOL order backlog to 2,770 – an “industry leading” number, it claimed.
