Bombardier has completed flutter, cold-weather and passenger-evacuation testing for its CSeries. The aircraft type has completed 900-hours of testing, which is en route to the 2,400 hours expected for certification of the initial CS100 version. Bombardiers is now test flying four aircraft with a fifth yet to fly. The manufacturer has increased the hours of testing considerably since September when the CSeries returned to test mode after being grounded following an engine failure during ground tests.
