Boeing is inspecting its flight test fleet after a component between the engine and the airplane structure was found to have issues. A spokesperson for the US aircraft manufacturer said: “During scheduled maintenance, we identified a component that did not perform as designed. Our team is replacing the part and capturing any learnings from the component and will resume flight testing when ready.” No near-term flight tests were planned on the other 777X flight test aircraft, which have scheduled maintenance and other activities.
