Boeing creates avionics group

Boeing has created an avionics group to make aircraft controls and electronics for entry into service after 2020. According to a statement to employees, Dennis Muilenburg, with firstly focus on its own aircraft but could manufacture parts for external firms in the future. The new group will absorb Boeing’s existing electronics products team. The move has impacted share prices of market leaders Rockwell Collins and Honeywell.
