Boeing confirms 747 production rates

Boeing has confirmed to the media that it will keep to its current production plans for the 747 aircraft program despite the cancellation of an order for four 747Fs by Nippon Cargo Airlines on September 1. Boeing now has 25 firm 747 orders, equal to about two years of production.
