New aircraft trader/lessor of used aircraft, Beijing Ji-An has been launched by joint venture partners Air China and GA Telesis. The company, which will be based in China, will also offer full-scale aircraft disassembly and create a redistribution business throughout Asia. Beijing Ji-An signed a memorandum of understanding with Apollo Aviation Management Limited for the consignment of two next-generation Boeing 737-700s, to be delivered this year. Beijing Ji-An plans to disassemble the aircraft at AMECO Beijing. The parts derived from the disassemblies will be warehoused in Beijing and targeted for use in the Asian market.
