US-based aviation technology business Aireon has announced that the Civil Aviation Department (CAD) of Hong Kong is to use AireonFLOW for air traffic flow management at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA). The addition, Aireon said, will enable “unparalleled air traffic visibility and situational awareness to the Hong Kong air navigation service provider’s (ANSP) very busy airspace”.
