Thai Airways International (THAI) has signed a letter of intent with Airbus for the development of Airbus Smarter Fuel Efficiency and Smarter Mobility solutions. This commitment underscores THAI’s requirement to have a fully integrated solution capable of handling ‘big data’ from all aircraft. The Smarter Fuel Efficiency will enhance the airline’s fuel saving performance and reduce workload through advanced gathering and monitoring of THAI’s operational fleet data, while the Smarter Mobility offering will be used to support line maintenance and engineering activities by facilitating the access of troubleshooting information and technical documentation on different mobile devices and from different locations.
