Airbus has delivered its 100th A380 to Malaysia Airlines (MAS) in Toulouse, France. The aircraft is the sixth A380 for MAS. Now in its sixth year of commercial service, the A380 is flying with nine airlines. To date, the worldwide fleet has carried some 36 million passengers in 100,000 flights. A good figure from Airbus this morning was a quote that it would have taken some 140,000 flights for a 747 to shift as many passengers.
