Air New Zealand has made some latest announcement on its latest standalone structure, the sleep pods for long-haul flights- ‘The Skynest’. The airline had made the Skynest announcement prior to pandemic and revealed some basic features. According to Air New Zealand, the Skynest would feature six separate pods that have fully flat bunk beds allowing passengers to lay flat and stretch out during their flights. The feature could be purchased as an add-on to an economy seat ticket, something like the existing Skycouch, a private row of seats in economy class. These seats are equipped with footrests that fold upwards
