The CEOs of American Airlines and Delta Air Lines met with US Secretary of State John Kerry last week to continue to lobby action against the Gulf carriers to retreat from the open skies policy between the countries. However, Kerry has affirmed America’s commitment to Open Skies but he made it clear that the interagency review of the materials submitted by stakeholders and members of the public will continue.
