South Africa in talks with UAE over Emirates new route

South Africa’s Transport Department is due to hold talks with the UAE regarding a disputed fourth daily Emirates Airline flight to Johannesburg from Dubai. The South African government claims that approval for the route was wrongly awarded by a since suspended individual in the transport department. Dipuo Peters, the South African transport minister, has delegated the deputy director-general for aviation to travel to the Middle East country for the talks.
