Engineers at Qantas have confirmed they will take industrial action from next Thursday with one-hour rolling stoppages in five locations on different days and are scheduled to continue until December 16. Locations affected are: the Brisbane line maintenance on Monday, Sydney domestic terminal on Tuesday, Adelaide line maintenance on Wednesday, Sydney Aircraft maintenance on Thursday and Melbourne line maintenance on Friday. The stoppages are not expected to disrupt passengers immediately but could have a cumulative impact that would eventually cause delays.
