The Civil Aviation Authority recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of air transport with the Federal Republic of Russia. As a part of the agreement, Omani and Russian carriers can operate as many as 14 weekly regular flights between the two countries. The MoU also provides for code sharing between each other’s airlines, besides various regulatory and operational aspects of air transport and civil aviation.
