The Greek Air Traffic Controller Association (GATCA) will strike this weekend in protest over a decision to give the Public Debt Management Agency access to airport fees. GATCA argues that this will allow the government to use the fee income to pay off national debt rather than ensure flight safety. The action over Oct 4-5 will disrupt flights over Europe.
