On July 27, Canadian Transport Minister Marc Garneau officially announced that transport agreements with Egypt and the United Arab Emirates have been expanded to allow for more service from major Middle Eastern airlines. Specifically, the expanded agreement means that the big three carriers can expand their service in Canada by upwards of 68%.
