The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) is planning to sell the 12 aircraft parked at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The operators of these aircraft have ignored the authority’s repeated requests to pay the overdue and the parking fees. According to a report in Bangladesh Financial Express there are eight aircraft belonging to United Airways, two belonging to Regent Airways, and one belonging to GMG Airlines. All the three are Bangladesh-based defunct airlines. GMG Airlines ceased operations in 2012, United Airways in 2016, and Regent Airways in 2020.  The report also says that the airlines are planning to restart
