Non-scheduled airline operators with foreign registered aircraft in Nigeria have filed a lawsuit seeking an injunction to prevent the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) from enforcing charging $4,000 before each departure as general aviation fees. Airline have described the fees as illegal and exorbitant. The agency has demanded that the fees shall be paid in advance and prior to any departure but the airlines stated that the NCAA does not have the power to make such laws.
