Belgian airline VLM has been placed into liquidation. The airline’s majority shareholder, SHS Aviation, voted last week (August 31) to dissolve the carrier.
VLM has cancelled all flights to London City airport and it has already halted routes to Aberdeen, Birmingham, Cologne-Bonn, Maribor, Munich and Rostock.
A statement on VLM’s website says that liquidators have been appointed who are “responsible for the contacts with potential buyers”.
