United Continental has confirmed that it will take delivery of two used 737-700 aircraft in June, which were formerly operated by Copa Airlines. United stated that the aircraft will enable it to reduce its dependence on smaller 50-seat jets.
United aims to deploy larger aircraft on routes with growing demand, without increasing its spending or capacity forecasts.
