Uganda has acquired four CRJ900s from Bombardier and two A330-200s for Uganda Airlines, which is being revived following its liquidation in 2001 due to debt.
"On the revival of the national airline, a task force has since been appointed on the same and procurement process for six aircraft to get the airlines up and running in financial year 2018/19 has commenced," said a statement from the government.
