Turkish Airlines has resumed operations to Tokyo Narita after suspending the flights in March 2020. With this route, Turkish airlines will now serve two Japanese destinations, Haneda and Narita from Istanbul Airport, becoming the first Star Alliance member to serve two Japanese destinations with passenger flights.
Turkish now serves Tokyo with 10 weekly flights and almost two daily flights. In 2019, Turkish Airlines carried an estimated 219,000 roundtrip Tokyo passengers.
