Transavia takes delivery of 14th Airbus A321neo aircraft

Transavia has taken delivery of its 14th Airbus A321neo and its first of the aircraft type featuring the latest Transavia livery.

The aircraft (registered PH-YHR) landed at Amsterdam Schiphol on Saturday (December 20) and will immediately be deployed to scheduled commercial flights.

With the arrival of PH-YHR, more than half of the Transavia fleet at Schiphol now consists of the new Airbus aircraft type.

The new livery is part of Transavia's recently launched brand identity, and all Airbus aircraft added to the fleet in future will now feature this updated look.

In December 2023, Transavia introduced its first A321neo, marking the beginning of an ongoing transition to an all-Airbus fleet.

Transavia said the A321neos are quieter and more fuel-efficient than the Boeing 737s they are replacing.

Since Transavia’s fleet renewal began, a total of 10 Boeing aircraft have left the fleet.

With this latest delivery, Transavia's Airbus fleet now comprises 14 aircraft, and seven additional new Airbus aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2026.

Airline expects to have completed its full transition to Airbus by 2031.
