Passenger traffic at Alaska Airlines for the month of April rose by 6.3%, which raised the occupancy of its aircraft to 87.4%. Capacity rose by 3.1%. During the first four months of the year, Alaska Airlines traffic has risen by 6.6%, on a capacity rise of 3.4%. Occupancy was up to 86.2%.
Sister airline did not experience similar gains as its April traffic fell by 13.4%, and capacity fell by 13.1%, with load factor at 76.4%.
