A Tatarstan Airlines Boeing 737 aircraft crashed last night while trying to land at the airport in the city of Kazan. All 50 aboard were killed. Eyewitnesses described the aircraft losing altitude as it was making a second landing attempt, crashing and catching fire. There were no immediate indications of the cause.
