Airline stocks declined further yesterday after monthly traffic reports revealed only slight growth in passenger numbers as customer push back on rising ticket prices for international flights. However, the wider stability of domestic traffic and goods revenue growth, halted steeper falls.
The NYSE Arca Airline Index fell less than 1% to 42.32 points with seven of its 13 components trading down.
