SpiceJet is planning to lease seven 737s between April and May, local media state quoting an airline source. Ajay Singh is also said to have promised another Rs 500 crore infusion into the troubled airline.
Singh is reported to have had discussions with aircraft lessors – it would be very interested to hear which lessors are still open to leasing to the airline considering its recent court battles with others.
