A Southwest Airlines flight from Denver to Salt Lake City landed safely yesterday after the pilot detected a burning smell in the cockpit, although no smoke was seen. The aircraft was grounded for three hours and inspected by maintenance workers before it was put back in service. Engineers were unable to determine the cause of the smell.
