The replacement for the now defunct Air Senegal International, Senegal Airlines, will start flying from January 25.
Chief executive officer Edgardo Badiali, said the airline will fly to West African cities of Conakry, Bamako, Nouakchott, Banjul, Ouagadougou and Abidjan.
The Senegalese government owns 36% of the carrier with other investors holding the remainder.
