Kazakhstan’s SCAT Airlines will begin operating a new service between Shymkent and Budapest.
Commencing on May 27, 2025, the new route will be the airline’s second route to central Europe, complementing its existing route to Prague.
SCAT was previously banned from flying to the European Union due to safety concerns but was removed from the EU Air Safety List in 2018.
