US Representatives are reported to be preparing legislation to create a tax credit for lower-carbon sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), according to Reuters.
The legislation is expected to impose a tax incentive of up to $2.00 for every gallon produced of sustainable aviation fuel, which would substantially lower the cost of the cleaner fuel.
The Bill is reported to be introduced by Democratic representatives and it is not yet known what Republican support such a Bill could enjoy.
