Icelandair is to start flying to Detroit next year, the carrier said this week, reopening a route previously serviced by the defunct Wow Air.
The flights ex-Reykjavik will run four days a week from May 18 until October. The airline's chief executive Bogi Nils Bogason said the addition of the flights would "not only help meet the demands of a growing Detroit but also offer more options for Midwestern business and leisure travellers connecting from the Midwest region.”
