Primera Air, the new European airline based in Latvia, has cancelled a planned transatlantic service from Birmingham Airport to Boston intended to begin from this summer. Media reports also suggest that the company is decreasing the frequency of its new route from Birmingham to New York, which was due to operate daily.
The airline intended to use its new A321neos to fly from Birmingham Airport to New York to replace the cancelled United Airlines flight from October 2017.
