Boeing has cancelled two working shifts for employees at its Auburn, Washington, fabrication facility due to a power outage over the weekend caused by a transformer failure.
The site manufactures aircraft parts for Boeing including wiring, tubes, ducts, and large machined parts for the 747 freighter. The cancellations continue into today.
