Shanghai-based Spring Airlines posted net income of CNY160 million ($24.8 million) in the 2011 first half, down 6.3% from a net profit of CNY170 million in the year-ago period.
Spring’s operating revenue for the year’s first six months rose more than 20% year-over-year to CNY1.9 billion. Operating expenses or passenger traffic figures were not disclosed by the airline.
