Malindo Airways CEO Chandran Rama Muthy has indicated that the airline plans to secure interlining arrangements with at least seven carriers to help establish Malaysia as a transit hub.
Chandran says the airline is in talks for interlining arrangements with carriers on European and Middle East routes.
He said for Malindo Air, an interlining arrangement would bring in about 2%-3% more passengers per year for the airline. The airline is considering interlining connections to Sabah and Sarawak.
