A Ural Airlines aircraft landing at Yekaterinburg’ s Koltsovo Airport on Saturday overshot the runway due to icy conditions. The A321 plane was cleared for landing with air traffic controllers confirming that the runway was in good condition. However the runway was covered in ice and caused the plane to overshoot the landing strip. None of the 143 passengers, on route from Dubai, were injured. The incident is being investigated by the Russian Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission.
