LOT Polish Airlines has revealed it expects to take delivery of its first 787 in the second quarter of 2012. Three more are to follow by the end of next year. The airline has plans to begin training its pilots for the new aircraft at the start of 2012 but it has not yet announced which routes the 787s will serve. The extended range of the 787 means LOT could fly from Warsaw to Los Angeles or fly direct to Asia.
