Dublin-based global aircraft lessor, AWAS, has agreed with LAN Airlines, one of the leading passenger and cargo airlines in Latin America, to enter into a purchase and lease back transaction for five Airbus A320 aircraft that the carrier had previously ordered directly from the manufacturer for 2011-2012 delivery. AWAS has also delivered the first of these passenger aircraft to LAN.
