Some 3,500 employees have left Kingfisher Airlines during the last year, reducing the head count at the airline to 4,200.
Non-payment of salaries is the main reason for the exodus, insiders say. Employees that remain are still striking in protest over salaries and more flight cancellations are expected if pilots are not paid.
