New regional airline JetGo has been tipped to take up the Gladstone-Sydney route after it was dropped by Qantas.
JetGo Australia Holding Pty airline licence was issued on October 3 through the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. The carrier is now allowing online reservations for its first service Sydney to Roma.
JetGo has announced it is in formal negotiations with Gladstone's airport and council.
