K.G. Vishwanath, vice president of commercial strategy at Jet Airways, has let slip in an analyst call that the airline plans to order more aircraft in preparation to better compete with AirAsia India. The carrier is considering an order for Boeing 737 aircraft.
Vishwanath has also confirmed that from 2015, Jet Airways will take deliveries of 10 on-order Boeing 787s to expand international operations, according to. The airline will also look at leasing out six Airbus A330-200 jets to Etihad.
