Investec Bank has acquired nine aircraft from aircraft lessor, Gecas, consisting of five Airbus A320s and four Boeing 737NGs. The deal was financed with equity from the Australia-based Investec Global Aircraft Fund (IGAF). The purchase follows the acquisition of two A320s and one 737NG from Gecas in November. The deal will close in March.
