The Hong Kong SAR Government has announced that effective from 25 March , non-residents will not be allowed entry into the territory – this includes transit passengers effectively shutting down its airport.
Only Hong Kong residents with a valid visa, identity card or proof of right of abode in Hong Kong will be permitted to enter the territory, in response Cathay Pacific has further reduced its schedule, cancelling further flights from London to Heathrow.
